We caught up with the ladies behind some of our most-loved Prism Gift Shop brands to see what they’re wishing for and gifting this holiday. Crazy creative, impeccable taste, and always in-the-know - it’s no secret why we turned to these women for their gift-giving advice. And as small business owners themselves, they know how important it is to support other artists & makers by spending with intention, this holiday season and always. 

I love to shop with our local stockists for gifts in the old fashioned way; walk into a well-curated store and see what speaks to me for people instead of showing up with a list in hand. It helps alleviate the stress of finding something specific - instead you just say "Oh, this is so Poppy!" (my daughter!). It's a really joyful way of gift shopping that’s a reminder of what giving is all about: thoughtfulness. This year, I'm wishing for a pair of Moxi roller skates, the Rihanna book, and a jade roller.

My friends and family usually get clothes from my brand, but these picks are great little additions to my gifts for them. I really love picking out gifts that suit peoples’ personalities and likes and I love having a little bit of everything for the very different people in my life. As for MY personal wishlist, I'd love to have the Silver.Skate.Seventies: California Skateboarding book, the La Muralla Roja Puzzle (for a lazy day after Christmas), and a plant stand from the Prism X LOREM collection because they’re just so good!

Since I’m lucky enough to pick out the gifts every year, I make sure our Gift Shop is full of local artists and brands I love supporting, and I’m really excited about the newest additions to our ever-growing roster of female owned businesses. Everyone on my list will be getting a Seeing Stars Horoscope Book and PF Candle in a scent I know they’ll love. It brings me so much joy to share a piece of Prism with my friends and family and to know that I’m not just giving a gift, I’m supporting people I believe in and encouraging the people in my life to shop small.

I love to give items that are personal and thoughtful, but also useful. Beauty and self care products are always a safe bet when it comes to gifting. I’m currently obsessed with Everyday Oil -- I know I will be giving it a lot this holiday!
